  WEAK ACIDS Acids which partially ionise in water and provide limited amount of hydrogen ions are called weak acids. EXAMPLES FOR WEAK ACIDS 1. Acetic acid 2. Formic acid 3. Citric acid 4. Tartaric acid etc. are weak acids.

  STRONG ACIDS: Those acids which completely ionise in water and provide hydrogen ions are called strong acids. EXAMPLES FOR STRONG ACIDS: Hydrochloric acid  Sulphuric acid Nitric acid

Salt  is a  mineral composed primarily of  sodium chloride (NaCl) , a  chemical compound  belonging to the larger class of  salts ; salt in its natural form as a  crystalline  mineral is known as rock salt or  halite . Salt is present in vast quantities in  seawater , where it is the main mineral constituent.
